Axe Makers of Hancock County, Maine

The Maine Axe and Tool Collectors Meet Up is held in South Portland, Maine, each October. During the 2025 event, a few American Axe History Preservation Society members integrated a clean up project of the graves of Fred H. Clark and C.H. Preble of “Preble and Clark”, Cyrus Emery, and W.J. Lord, all axe makers from Hancock County, Maine.
